Sky Reach

Ūrdhva Hastāsana · arms rise, mountain stays

Same feet as Door 1. Arms float up like you are hanging laundry on the sky. The mountain does not move. Only the reach changes.

Look hereYour middle — belly button and hips. That is the hinge between root and reach. If the hinge tips back, the ribs flare and the breath shortens. Keep the middle honest.

Arms up on four. One quiet second at the top — do not squeeze it. Blow for four. Six rounds.

Green light: shoulders soft, ribs quiet, no tipping, you felt the pause without forcing it.
Red light: arms shoved behind the ears, banana back, breath held at the top. Lower the arms. Still the door.

One question: did the quiet at the top feel like a gift or a squeeze?
